YOS exam is an exam that the foreign students wishing to study in universities in Turkey take. The result of this exam is used when applying to these universities for admission. Until 2011 YOS exam was organized by OSYM. However, after this date, the Council of Higher Education requested each university to determine the foreign student admission requirement. After that, the universities set their admission requirements. As Test Prep, we offer YOS exam preparation courses with our professional instructors to prepare students for the YOS exam in the best possible way.
Since 2011, YOS has started to be built by universities and Ankara Uni, Marmara Uni, Istanbul Uni, Ege Uni, Anadolu Uni, Akdeniz Uni, Uludag Uni, Cukurova Uni, Samsun 19 May Uni. etc. Many universities have organized exams by themselves. All YOS exams are similar, but the number of questions and the distribution of subjects vary. In our YOS exam prep courses, we offer a comprehensive education including all the topics.
YOS Exam Preparation Course Structure

MATHEMATICS AND GEOMETRY questions are questions that measure quantitative skills. The weight of these is 30% – 40%Math, and 10% – 20% Geometry among the total questions.
In Test Prep, as we mentioned before, we offer the YOS exam prep course including topics and the subtopics.
YOS Exam Validity
The exams of the major universities have the same or similar characteristics as those of the OSYM in previous years and the exams consisted of general skills, mathematics, geometry, and Turkish courses. As in previous years, Turkish is only a language proficiency test and did not affect exam scores. Applications for the exams are generally online and the application dates are in January – June of each year, and the dates of exams are mostly in April – August.
The majority of the universities that do not take exams on their own have accepted students with the exams of other universities. Besides, many universities have accepted students with SAT exams, and the universities that make exams are allocated a large part of their quota for students who take their exams.
